Yes, legally. You are in certain boundries, you pay the park fee, the mexican official may come onto the boat, you can only have a certain amount of chum pounds. Was there last sept. all legal.
 
I realize this is an old thread but as part of the MLPA diving is banned at the Farallones as of 4/01/10.

Please cite chapter and verse on that.

My read is that BOATING is prohibited by special closures at SE
Farallon and the northern Farallons, but not Middle
Farallon, nor at Noonday Rock and the other reef structure that's
away from the actual islands.
 
I read the thread title as "Cave Diving with Great Whites". :shocked2: That really scared the H--- out of me!
