Channel Islands Live-aboards?

Any recommendations on Channel Islands live-aboards? I've dove with Truth Aquatics, but looking for some other possibilities.

I've done day trips on the Peace boat from Ventura. They do multiple day trips. It's my favorite diveboat that i've been on. Keith

Spectre is our favorite for Anacapa trips. Go to http://calboatdiving.com/

Spectre trips can be $75 on Wed. for 3 tanks plus lunch and your can sleep aboard the night before - ditto on Peace. Explorer also operates out of Ventura Harbor Village. These boats are very convenient to Channel Islands.

The Sundiver is a good boat for daytrips to Catalina. They do run liveaboard trips but I've never gone on one. www.sundiver.net

iv'e only dove off of the the truth aquatics boats. why settle for 2nd best when for about the same $ you can dive with the best?, KEN

I, too, really enjoy diving with The Peace....great crew, great boat, great captain, great food, etc.

However, the Truth Aquatics boats, in my opinion, have nicer facillities for sleeping.

The Spectre is also a nice boat; however, I don't believe they do many (if any) multi-day trips.

Like LAJim, I love their weekday, $75 dollar trips that include lunch, three dives and air fills.

Peace is a great boat and crew. It is a smaller boat, so the bunks are a little bit crowded. They are also dry docking at the end of December.

Where are you coming from? We have several harbors and boats to choose from.

I have heard good things about Truth Aquatics.

Also out of Redondo Beach, Pacific Star has a good crew and a good size boat.

There are a lot of good boats out here that do Live Aboard...
