Earlier in this thread I stated that it was legal to pick up the junk at this site. I was just contacted by one of the Chicago Charters who tells me that it in fact is not legal.
So...best not take anything without checking the legality of it first.

I'm not much of an artifact hunter but I don't see why any one would want to dig in the mud for something they can't take anyway. LOL
