Yeah, it'll be riveting watching them swim at 10' for 3hrs (5000m) with a Lar-V on.

Probably about 35min if you use the DVR to skip the commercials. Watching Discovery Channel (or most TV) with commercials you risk permanent brain damage.

Do you have any facts or information to support this statement?
Do you have 1/10 the guts and skill needed to start the class?

Maybe the show is edited, compressed to 35 min and skewed to be interesting to the general population (it is Discovery Channel). The special ops guys are real and they have my respect and gratitude for doing a job I am not capable of. Ditto for pretty much any member of the armed forces.
 
i'd like to see you make fun of their split fins in person. if you're laughing at their gear than i think you're missing the point.

seriously, i have nothing but respect for these guys.
