Personally I think the SK-7 is a bit bulky. I use the SK-6.

Let's here it for the SK-6 :D

Get one of those pigeons, they always find their way home. I know, the next question is, where can I get a scuba outfit for a Pigeon????

SK7 is nice because it is useful at a greater tilt angle.
Because it is useful at a greater tilt angle it is bulkier.
But alas... I've lost two of them so far.
One to a leak and the other to the garage gremlins.
Now I have no compass to quide me.
Fortunately I didn't let the compass rot my brain and my IGS is very accurate.

Careful of those IGS's, Pug. I know of a fellow who was using his and flew into the side of a mountain.

Banging the head on the side of the Andrea Doria may hurt!!! :D

Uncle Pug:
OK.... I'll be careful. But if I crash into a mountain U/W at least I won't burst into flames. :D

Just make sure you keep those OMS rescue flares away from the 60% O2 mix.

I have an SK-7 too, mounted on a Cobra. Now I just gotta learn how to use it  (can't wait to try it out on the AOW Navigation dive next week). My husband thinks the SK7's too bulky so he got an Ikelite Pro compass.
