Saw this last night. It looks like a sponge of some sort, but it was walking around like a crab. Anybody know what kind?

Likely a decorator crab that borrowed some camo. I'm having a harder time identifying the camo. :)

It's not smart, but it's crafty.

How were conditions last night? I was supposed to meet Roc, but he called it on surf before I left for the beach.

Conditions were great. Tons of little critters. Small waves later in the evening but very doable.

That figures. I guess I will try to talk him into tomorrow night then.

    Thanks for the info!
