Will be diving with 'The Dive Bus', looking for a reasonably priced room ($80 - $120). I'll be on my own, without a vehicle, so would like to be near shops and restaurants. Don't need kitchen facilities, just something clean and comfortable, although a pool would be nice. Also, do they have a 'Carnival' there (it would be in early March 2011)? Thanks!!!

I'd say either stay at the Dive Bus apartments (on the bus line) or try The Scuba Lodge if you want to walk to Punda/Otrabanda (about a mile).
