No body wants insurance...

Not untill they need it that is, Ive seen so called professionals apply after on set of symptoms wait the 10 days for policy to come then surprise expect treatment.

Bottom line this delay makes there situation worse (in most cases time is critical for dcs)

This is also fraudulant and leaves you open to court cases.

So YES yes YES,

Get insurance for your diving its not to expensive and will save your butt from financial ruin if the event occurs.

Do not even consider getting wet without it....

Yours from a guy who is totally fed up with facing proffesionals with no coverage and tourists with crappy travel policys that will not help you,
At the end of the day its your life and health and if you do not care about it why should we????

Regards gary insured to the the max never made a claim.

I think DocVikingo summed up the situation pretty well - the peace of mind the insurance buys you is priceless (a bit tongue in cheek) and well worth the small fee you pay each year.

The magazine you get is excellent too for expanding your knowlege on the safety and medical aspects of our sport.

cheers

On a short note: You can't beat DAN and its premiums when weighed against the consequences of the BIG IF.
