Mark, I have a bandsaw that will do a lovely straight job of cutting the pvc. If you want to have another go at it drop by, I live just outside the Naden gate, we could do it after work on day. I think I'm going to try this myself.

Thanks for the offer, but I'm not too worried about it. It's ugliness doesn't affect it's function at all. You can't even see the cuff rings since they're under the latex seals.
 
I have an old amphibico WA lens, and the degree of view is so wide I get vignetting unless I zoom in a touch. I thought it was the housing at first, but it's the lens/camera combo in my case.
