A few months back I read an article that a trio of divers descended down to a wreck in a European lake to a depth of 850ft with ill effects to 2 of them once they reached a certain depth. Does anyone know about this or has a link to the story?

I would be curious to read about that. At those depths there are many things that can go wrong and deaths do occur. Curious to see what happened and what wreck they were going after.

Yup that's exactly it. I'm 80ft off, but by no means any less difficult. Guys in my group want to do a 550ft in lake superior.

Must be a pretty experienced group.........
