Did I get a BARE wetsuit lemon?

So FINALLY I get a response from Leisure Pro. Kudos to them for picking up the slack from Bare on this:

Hi Josh, I just received an update from the warehouse about the Bare 3mm Men's Sport Step-In Jacket. According to our specialist, that should not be the way the suit is. This is a possible defective out of shape. As advised, you can return back to us and we will exchange or refund it. Please advise. Regards, Shae F.| LeisurePro

I think its crazy the MANUFACTURER didn't accept liability, but the customer service department looked into the measurements and agreed something was wrong. Crossing my fingers I get a better fit on the next suit!

I've got two Bare wetsuits and neither of them looks like that. I would insist on an exchange/refund.

Just an observation. I have a Bare Artic and have been pleased with this suit. However, two friends have purchased Bare wetsuits recently (one the 8/7 semi dry and aonther the sport). Both are requiring significantly more weight to dive this suit that the Artic suit. By significantly, I mean almost double the weighting. Has Bare changed the neoprene?

I'm pretty sure there are issues with these suits so buyer beware. They are out of stock again through LP so I'm assuming they found issues with their other suits after I raised the issue. They're telling me they don't expect them back in until June. This is awful. WTH Bare!

In the past Bare has made excellent suits. I too am reluctant to recommend them at this time. The Bare artic was an great suit and I would buy it again. However, the chatter on recent suits make me wonder if they decided to go in a different direction. If they returned to the original Artic suit (original materials), I think that they would make out like a bandit! Super stretch isn't good if it takes mega weight to sink it (my opinion and 2 cents).
