Disconnecting First stage underwater?

I think there is a misunderstanding here. Assuming that he meant, disconnecting the BC insufflator hose, and reattach it to another tank, that would make sense. BC inflator hoses can be unplugged and reattached safely underwater. Right?

Now it makes even less sense..................the inflater hose is connected to a first stage....how do you attach it to another tank? By means of a first stage. So you would have to either unscrew it from the first stage or take off the entire first stage and then place it on another tank......


Disconnecting BC inflator hose is doable, but that was not the original post.... specifically mentions diving with less regulators than tanks

Still sounds like BS, big ego or poor judgement.
