The wife and I are new divers and will be in Maui the 13th through the 21st, staying at the Grand Wailea. Looking for some good dives for new divers, and who we might contact about guides or shops to use for setting these trips up would be greatly appreciated.

Check with Maui Dreams Dive Co in Kihei, they have both boat and shore (Turtle Town!) dives available. We used them for Molokini and backwall dives - trips were really nice. Their boat is at Maalaea harbor near Kihei.
Maui Dive Shop is in Maalaea harbor too.
Another nice dive site would be Lanai Cathedrals (I and II), you'd want to leave from Lahaina though (we used Lahaina Divers) - but I'll let Hawaii locals to chime in about Lahaina situation now.
