Howdy,

Looking to set myself up with a spare reg. I've been using a MK25 EVO/S620Ti combo for the last year or so (just something to compare it to).

All rec diving for the moment.

I see from DGX that the XT4 is relatively new.

Anyone used the XT1/XT4 combo yet? Got any likes, dislikes or comments on it?

I can't seem to find many reviews online, really only found one on good ol' Reddit.

Full disclosure I am a dealer but I was also one of of the beta testers for this regulator. It is a great second stage (XT4). Roughly 30% smaller than the original XT2. Can be set up in either left or right hand orientation.

For use I have done 2+ hour cave dives with it in 33F in Norway for a week straight with no free flows. I have breathed it at over 100 meters and have had zero issues.

For the cost it can’t really be best in my opinion. It is now my primary go to for a second stage. The reason there is not much about it is that it was launched only earlier this year and there was not a big marketing push with it.

Details and specs can be found here:

Looks like a nice design, what’s the service kit situation?

They should be available through your local dealer for sale to certified service techs. I have ordered many for customers with no issues.

The price of kits? And will you sell them to people who buy the regulator?

DGX sells DR service kits. Good luck finding the manual, though.

Off the top of my head they are around $30USD

They are available to certified regulator service techs.

Not necessarily

Not necessarily

So far those are for the older models, they may use the same service kits though.

Ya me too! Look at that ;-)

They still are supposed to be only sold to service techs. Take that for what it’s worth.
