Diving with Pony Bottle on or off?

Great thing about the omniswivel inline valves, they're right where your fingers will be grabbing the reg and it's an instinctive movement to push it towards the 2nd stage as you deploy. Absent a DPV, though, I was just keeping the bottle on at all times. Deco gases are a different story, of course.

I tell my teammates that mine is always on and anyone who needs it can just grab it without asking. I'll understand.
