Do I need a STA with a Hollis ss plate?

which wing do you plan to use

If you are using a Hollis single tank wing you don't - unless is several years old - I don't think the old models didn't have cam band slots. if you are using a different brand you'll have to look for feedback on that specific wing
 
Would you recommend a STA for the Hollis S25LX wing? Thanks for the advice!
 
I've dived my Hollis with an without an STA and don't notice any difference. Only difference is I have to add 2 lbs of weight to account for the "missing" STA. I'm a little lost on how the use of an STA makes donning easier - unless you meant putting the BC on the tank vs. putting the BC on yourself.
