I was wondering if I there are any SDI instructors in the ATL area that would be willing to do SDI AOW checkout dives for me at Lake Lanier? l have dove Lake Lanier for a number of years and know what to expect vis wise when diving there. Sure, it's not Florida or the Caribbean, but it's water and has depth and is close to me.
I live in the ATL area and am trying to cut my travel time to help look after my son who is getting ready to undergo surgery for a broken foot and will be recovering for 6-8+ weeks. He was wanting to get OW cert. ,but that will have to wait for at least 4-6+ months until the foot heals fully.
I was looking to do my SDI AOW checkout dives in mid - late Oct. if that works out with the instructors schedule.
