I'm sending my Dacor Trilam in to have Turbo Soles installed and have the arms shortened a little. I figure since I'm sending my suit in anyway, I may as well have them fix that problem that many of us dry suit divers apparently suffer from (exhaust valve in a crappy spot).
I've read some of the other posts about this, and it seems most people prefer cuff dumps.
Problems are:
So now I'm thinking the best spot, considering all of the above, would be the outside of the arm (right between bicep and tricep) as close to the elbow as possible.
Would this be a good spot to put it? It seems like this would be just as good a location as the cuff.

Hey, anywhere will be better than that crappy front of the shoulder spot, that most manufacturers seem to put them!

Problems are:
- My suit has a large valve, about 3"
- I wear a computer and compass on my left and a slate on my right
- I'm going to be wearing dry gloves once it gets colder
- All of the above combined with the fact that, I'm short.

In this spot:
- It should be just as easy to get the valve to the highest point
- Your arm is also closer to the natural position you keep it in while diving, allowing you to still see gauges, and reach both dry suit and wing inflator
