Bob3:
You may just want to get a ring system installed on your suit then, it would eliminate having to buy new zip cuffs every few months. The initial installation is cheaper even.

Are you saying you can have rings mounted directly to the suit itself rather than the seals? I have the DUI CLX 50/50 (not the FLX 50/50). What type of ring system mounts directly to the sleeve of this suit, who can install them and how much do they cost? Also, does this system have wrist seals in case of a glove failure?

Sorry for all the questions. You can tell how ignorant I am. I know I will always want dry gloves and I like my suit so it's worth having "permanent" rings mounted to my suit if such a product is available.

Yep, rings glued right to the suit. Not too complicated of a process but it's probably not something a DIYer would want to do as a first project.
I'm not that familiar with DUI's suits, just guessing that the sleeves would be about the same diameter because most latex cuffs tend to be within the same size range.
Viking's suits are easily adapted to permanent rings so I don't see any reason your suit couldn't. Having cuffs attached to the rings in addition to the glove is also pretty common with Viking's suits. I don't know how practical adding cuffs to a DC ring system is, so you should probably get in contact with a good drysuit repair joint that handles a wide variety of mfgrs, like the guys in MN. http://drysuitrepair.com/
If for some reason your DC rings won't fit the bill, the new bayonet latching ring kits from Viking (made by Si Tech) are something you should take a look at.
Replacing cuffs on a drysuit is a whole lot easier than you may think. Here's a drysuit DIY cuff replacement slideshow you can take a look at: http://comdive.com/cuffs.zip
It's a zipped file of about 750kb in size. You can do a right click & "save as" or whatever.
If you slap some good heavy duty cuffs on your suit you should be able to go years w/o needing to replace them, as long as they're properly maintained.

Thanks for the zip file. After looking at it, it's really tempting to just replace my own seals. I'll have to look for a source of glue, solvent, seals, etc now.

Thanks again Bob

You may want to check out the classifieds section here on the board, in particular:

The guys at Superior claim they can slap a set of the new Si Tech - Viking rings on for $185. Seeing's how the ring kit normally retails for $150, that ain't too bad.

Just out of curiousity, why don't you want the "zip gloves"? I'm guessing you want to use the latex zip wrist seals with the DC rings so that there is still a seal should you ever rip your gloves to avoid flooding. Is that right?
