Dennis I've done the 6:15. It'll be dead there on a Thur morning, so HT is right - get there by 5:45 and you'll be fine. That's what I'm planning.

And he's also right about dropping your gear. You'll drive up to the curb in front of the terminal and you can drop your gear off, then drive into the parking garage. I'll be arriving about the same time - we can connect via cell, and coordinate our arrivals so one can watch the gear while the other parks, and switch. And then it's an easy walk into the terminal, to the ticket counter, and outside to the line to board the ferry.

Last time I did the ferry it was a weekend and the parking lot was full, so I had to park on the roof (uncovered). But I'm sure on a Thursday there will be parking available on lower levels.

But diving dry does not! :eyebrow:

Ha... try my "dry" suit (sorry Pete)! But Diving Dry with Dr. Bill is a treat even landlubbers can enjoy.

I'll vouch for that! I read every one. It's the only thing that's keeping me connected to the underwater world while I've been laid up. That, and watching your CD's! I watch them when I'm feeling sorry for myself that I can't get in the water. It's almost as good as the real thing!

Tip: if you got gear to lug, park near the elevator. it is easy to drop your gear off on the way in but not as easy to pick up on the way out. Unless nobody has told me the secret pick up spot. :D

SSSHHHHH that's my secret:crafty:...now all the good parking spaces next to the elevator will be taken. :mooner:

yup, my first "parking at the Express" trip, I noticed alot of cars/truck with dive flags parked next to the elevator but I merrily went to a "better" spot to come back that evening with heavy wet gear, tired and said duh :dork2: Now I make sure I park there too. :D
There is a good spot to the south side of the building if you are willing to wait for someone to get your car and drive around to pick you up...but gotta have a car pool dummy to be able to do that though, 'cause i sure not going to leave my gear for 15 minutes alone.

Well, since there's more than one of us, we can have one person wait with the gear at the curb while the other goes to fetch their car. That's what we did last time. We should talk about carpools. Who all is taking the 6:15, besides me and Dennis? Dennis, I'll PM you...maybe we can carpool?

Good idea on the gear @ curb/ parking-car-fetching. I'll volunteer to guard our corner of the curb while everyone fetches vehicles. (Gives me time to shop through everyone else's gear for the best stuff :rofl2:)

See you on the 6:15. Anyone bringing breakfast?
