I placed an order for a Zeagle Express Tech with zip touch weights with my local dealer about a month ago and the said that it was on backorder at the time. I'm curious if anybody knows how long this backorder is supposed to last. I've been wanting to try one out for a while and this is getting very frustrating.

Let me know the name of the shop and I will see what's going on...we were out of bladders about a month ago, but they are complete and we have been shipping them???

I'd just like to post that after my order was received by Zeagle I got my Express Tech a few days later. I got to dive it a few days after that and I really like the feel. I went with just the basic harness plus the zip touch weights and I added a couple of d-rings and inner tubes of my own.
I'm sure I'll still be using my plate and harness most of the time but this will be my preferred BC when I don't need a wetsuit.

Are these back ordered again? If so, do you have an expected ship date? I ordered an Express press Tech and a Ranger about a month ago and every week my local shop is told it should ship the following Monday. Would really like to have these as they are going to be used as demos for my PS team to help us decide what to order. My other concern is that if I order 6 of either or both of these, will they take another month or so?

It's all ebb and flow.
We should be shipping Express Techs the first part of next week, with Rangers soon to follow.
It has been a far busier season than we anticipated, which has put us a little behind on shipping, although a month seems a bit extreme.
We should be able to start filling all orders in a timely manner soon...and I can always try to help get something expedited, if needed. Just drop me a PM and I'll see what I can do.

My dive shop got tracking info today!! Thanks so much for your help and personal service. My LDS wants to know how I made this happen as she was getting nowhere with her rep.

I realize this thread is SUPER old but I have the same problem as the original poster - I ordered the zip touch weights on black friday 2022 (11/24/22) from, House of Scuba. After ordering this, I was told they were on backorder but should get it around mid December 2022. I asked them for an update on 12/19/22 and I was told it would be available 1/15/23. I have not heard anything more since then.
Does anyone know what is going on and when they will fulfill orders?
I was originally thinking of getting the Zeagle Zena but since nothing was available I chose to go with the weight pockets for now, which I will be installing on my steel backplate. This is REALLY frustrating because I NEED these to practice donning/doffing my gear in the water BEFORE my upcoming Cozumel trip in February.
Does anyone know what is going on and when they will fulfill orders?
