first hunt of the year

I did my first dive and hunt of the year and bagged .... not a thing. I was looking for lobster and flounder and didn't see a single one of each. I am actually thankful I didn't see a flounder as I found out reading a fishing magazine after my dive that the season is closed when I thought it opened April 1st - someone's watching out for me.

I didn't know the lobsters vamoosed for the winter. When do they start to show again off the south shore of Massachusetts?
