Now, how to make it mix the gasses into Nitrox or Tri-mix??? :D

i just figured it all out...

you use the hydrogen that you crack out of the water to produce deuterium and tritium to feed the fusion reactor. the byproduct of the fusion reaction is helium, so you capture that and use it to mix with the oxygen. then you scrub CO2 from the loop just like a CCR...

w00t

plus you could power the HID lights off of the fusion reactor and ditch the can batteries...

now how does it fit in with our plans for world domination?... :cyborg:

Gee Brain, what do you want to do tonight?
The same thing we do every night, Pinky...TRY TO TAKE OVER THE WORLD!!!

So it extracts air, No deep diving then, its a very complex system to say the least, still need bail out, How do you add Helium????

Ans. : an even more complex system!!!!!

Rebreathers are still the answer, and rebreathers take a beating in the diving comunity for being complex, what the hell do you do to this thing then.

As I said it sounds to good to be true, cool idea though

Don't forget that as you descend the gas you breath has to be at a higher and higher pressure. This is why he has no working prototype. Not only does he have to create a relative vacuum to extract the air from the water he then has to compress the air in order to get it in the lungs. Boyle's law trumps Henry's!

Here is a much better technique:
