Month of September results - Virtual Diving Contest

Let's start with Don Beary from San Diego. He is the winner for Week 12 and he won the XS Equipment Package # 3 - Local Boat Package. This is what Don had to say about eDiving: "I like how you can use eDiving to explore a site, like getting bearings to things in the Catalina Dive Park (the Cousteau Plaque, etc). Lately I have been using eDiving to help plan a dive to the Yukon's propellers from the forward gun".

Then we have Tim Bozart from Napa, the winner for Week 13, that is bringing home the XS Equipment Package #4 - Accessories Kit. Tim told us: "I have really enjoyed eDiving and the ability to pre-plan a dive prior to getting in the water is a plus. I have enjoyed the 3D graphics and the various dive site that you have to offer. Keep up the good work".

Last, but not least, the lucky eDiver, and proudly owner of a brand new KnightHawk BCD with Air2 - the prize for September - is Shawn Bullock from Lake Forest. This is Shawn's official quote: "One of the biggest concerns I have when planning a dive is determining what features the site contains and land marks to visit or use as a guide for navigation. Gone are the days when I have to look at innaccurate 2D maps or lengthy explanations of the site. It is truly wonderful to open up the eDiving service and test the dive site for myself. Interesting, I've dived Casino Point a dozen times and learned new things about the location from the simulated dive. I will be using this service more frequently in the future for dive planning".
And then he told us something else that I liked so much to ask his permission to post it. Here what else he said: "This is a very interesting software and has the potential to revolutionize dive planning as we know it today". Cool eh?

We have few more winners to announce - such as the name of the Grand Prize winner that will receive two OceanReef Full Face Masks with Underwater Communications. We will communicate those names shortly.

Well, the eDiving summer contest is wrapping up, we are very happy with the results and the response from the diving community.
We are working hard to improve eDiving both in terms of selection and quality of dive sites and in terms of new features. You have probably seen the recent announcements regarding the Virtual Spiegel Grove (by the way, if You have pictures and/or videos of the Spiegel Grove that You would like to contribute to this project, please let us know) and the new Virtual Buddy Diving feature.

We are planning more surprises for DEMA :D! Come visit us at booth 4951.
