Where on the GBR exactly? Some places it is more relevant than others. Either way, all boats that offer nitrox will provide an analyser for you to analyse your tanks.

I dived the GBR south of Lizard island two years ago.My buddies and I dove nitrox every dive, but it really wasn't all that important. No one else did. All the dives were pretty shallow, and we had plenty of surface interval. The boat had several analyzers for us to use.

You wont get Nitrox on any of the Outer Reef live abroad trips. I assume if you are doing 2 days its Ocean Quest of Kangaroo Explorer, neither of which are geared up for it.

Only on the trips to the Ribbon Reef areas where nitrox is an advantage is it available.

Outer Reef dives quite shallow with plenty of bottom time allowed.
