Ah, yes... Mesh weight belts.

I already own two of them. I don't care for them. They're much better than a webbing-type or neoprene weightbelt, but I sitll prefer weight integrated BC's to wearing any kind of weight belt.

So that's the suggestion, hunh? Maybe I'll make something... Like an ACB+ style pouch with stainless gear...

You may consider the weight harness's that are out there. They allow you to drop the weight pouches below the BP/Harness waist belt... not as much in the way. They are also very comfortable as they distribute the weight.
