Gili islands Dec- jan

hiya,
Anyone who has been to Gili during the supposed wet season Dec-jan does is rain a lot is the viz crap? any help appreciated as plan to stay a month around this time.

Been to Lombok in late December / early Jan and yes it rains quite a lot (I would say a couple of hours per day); haven't dived there though, but in Bali / Sumbawa and Komodo - Viz was about 10 - 15 m.
