Nevis Diver:
What about parking in town?

It is, in a word: painful. There are relatively few legal places to park on the street. If you park next to a red curb, the police will remove the license plate from your car, and you have to go down to the station and pay a fine to get it back. If you try to turn in a rental car without a plate, the rental place will refuse it and keep charging you rental until you resolve the issue. The red curbs are not repainted very often, and there just may be a few traces of red paint that you may or may not see, and that's no defense.

There is a big parking lot behind Carlos & Charles. We just park there and walk around town.
