Glad you had a good time on Maui! I love Maui Dreams, we go to them for our air.
Mala is one of my favorite dive spots. Once you park go through the parking lot to the other side of the boat ramp to the very small beach area on the right. The entry on the left is too shallow and filled with spiney urchins. The right side is a much easier entry but you do have to kick across the boat ramp so exercise caution and don't forget your flag.
I also get a kick out of the shark sign at MM 14
