The big red sign at the top of the page indicated that I should make my first post here so, being the good diver I am... Hi!

I am very new to diving. I just finished my open water certification two weeks ago and have only logged about 10 dives. Over the last couple of days I have browsed through many of the posts and found this to be a lively community filled with great people.

10 dives in 2 weeks sounds pretty impressive to me! Welcome to the board and the sport. You should really should stop by the Florida Conch Divers to get to know other divers in your area. We have lots of divers all over the state.

I'm in Hollywood, and if you're in this area, you are welcome to join us on a dive some time.

Congrats on your certification. Hope to cross paths underwater sometime,
Grier

welcome aboard!

lots of members from your neck of the woods. like Grier said, check out the
Florida Conch Divers forum for trips and buddies.

and don't listen to anything a guy named Simbrooks says.

unless he says, "dude, H2Andy rocks" or words to that effect

Thanks for the welcome. I live in Orlando, where I attend the University of Central Florida. Is there a website for Florida Conch Divers? I tried Google but nothing came up on the first page.
