Dealer???
Somehow this stuff is coming from a dealer if it's new. Might be an individual posting to mask the dealer supporting it. Either way it's a clear violation of Halcyon's dealer terms and ruins the resale value for the rest of us who have purchased Halcyon gear.

The supply is limited and won't have an impact on anyone's used gear value.

It's a win-win situation where someone is clearing an inventory and someone else is able to make a good deal.

The only ones affected are Halcyon dealers but then there is a limited supply spread on a continent, it won't touch their bottom line.

Then again it might tickle the head salesman at Halcyon.:mooner:

Basically the dealer is violating Halcyon's enforced MAP pricing.

"It is frequently difficult in antitrust enforcement to determine when a retail price is set based upon a manufacturer's unilateral pricing policies and when the retail prices are set based upon an illegal agreement. The basic rule of thumb is: if the manufacturer's decision to set a suggested retail price and the retailers choice to adhere to that price are independent decisions, then it is probably not considered price fixing under the law. But if manufacturers and retailers agree that a certain price will be charged, the agreement will be considered illegal. "

ah okay, if it's liquidation, no biggie :D

Just wanted to say thanks for posting this. Picked up the cinch, pads, weight pockets, diver notebooks. Stephane is very nice to deal with and I can now upgrade my Eclipse to an "infinity" at a very reasonable cost.

Happy to have been of some help.
He might still have some goodies left.:D

Cheers
