Hello from Alaska

Hello all, I was certified in 2014 but didn't do anything with it. Recently went to Hawaii and had so much fun that I decided to get a refresher/dry suit and so on... that said...here's a turtle butt I saw while snorkeling in Kona.

I will be doing my dry suit certifying dives this weekend in Whittier. Out of Seward on Fox Island there is some good diving. I'm still learning where to dive.

Yes, lots of it. Logistics can be a bit of challenge unless you have a boat. When I moved up here 22 years ago everybody in California was telling me "there is no diving in Alaska." They were misinformed.
