I assume you went with the female model, but try the male size these usually have wider sleeves

Rubber seals on a 3mm Everflex? I know the 5mm Everflex has the seals but I haven't gotten a look at any that are 3mm with those seals.

Either way it was a good suggestion to maybe switch to a Male suite

Thank you again to all those of you who have replied to this thread.

I went to the dive shop, where I bought the suit yesterday, and they advised trying an anti-rash vest before buying a new suit so I have decided to try this when we go to Egypt in September - failing that I will be looking into the possiblity of a new suit. I am also going to speak to my doctor re how I should treat any future rash.
