What’s the diving like around Perth? Is it mainly scenic or are there wrecks or geology? What would a typical dive day look like? Small or large dive boats, or shore diving?

Any chance of posting that here for the non-FB afflicted?
They have planted a whole bunch of underwater sculptures at the end of a jetty, where there is an underwater observatory. Its not very deep ... maybe the deepest is at 7.5m. But you can wade in off the beach and scooter out along the jetty, approx 1.5 hours round trip (3.6k's), nice shallow water dive. Can't wait to strap some doubles on my wife and take her out there this summer, to have a look.
