I just got certified last month and ready to get information on dive equipment. I'm looking for information about an easy breathing reg and a nice price BC. Any thoughts?

Best bet for a beginning student is to consult your open water instructor &/or your local dive shop. Tell them what you're looking for and a price range and start there.

Good luck and welcome to ScubaBoard!!

hello and welcome to the board. I would agree to talk to your instructor and LDS as the more you suport them the more they support you. Plus they can be sure to get you into a bc that fits you.

Hi and welcome to the board....fill in your profile so we know all your secrets

Hi and Welcome,
I am going to side with the people who are suggesting that you look to your instructor and LDS for advice on equipment. They are the people who you will want to turn to for service and air and travel and more training and they are the ones best suited to point you in the right direction. One thing that I know - there is no manufacturer who makes bad equipment - some just make better stuff than others.

Congratulation on your new certification

It does help with discussions if you complete your Profile. And it's even more fun when you load an Avatar (personal pic for each post) and a Profile pic. See UserCP to access these if you'd like to...?

If you haven't yet, click Forums above and start going thru the list - looking for those of interest to you, especially your local dive club. Always good to try a Search before starting a new thread, tho :search: and be careful about posting Threads & Replies without reading the Stickies at the tops of most forums. Click the link in my Sig below to PM me if I can help you around here..
