How bad of choice Egypt in early March?

Hmmm...

I think my coldest dive yet is around 26 degrees centigrade. At that temperature I usually just get cold at the surface or while on the boat after getting out. While in the water, I'm fine for say a 40-50min dive. I guess renting a shorty would be okay. How much would that cost?

It depends on you. Do you feel cold easily?

IMHO, 3mm suit is not enough in March. You need 5mm.

Dive shops here rent suits but not vests. You can get a 5mm shorty over your 3mm full suit.

Easy - drysuit!

Been there, done that .. hated the wind, but not a problem in a dry bag
