New to ScubaBoard and just learning to use the site. Still having trouble navigating to the place where I can post new threads.

How do I navigatge to post new threads

Well, since this is a new thread, it would seem that the question is somewhat moot. However, since you are also in Cincinnati (as am I), you can find the main forums on the initial www.ScubaBoard.com page. You can get to this "home" page by clicking the logo in the top banner.

Just start at http://www.scubaboard.com and then look for a forum you are interested in posting in.

As these guys said - First go to the www.scubaboard.com home page, which shows you the index of all the forums.
Next - pick and click on the appropriate forum for your question (i.e. if you have a BC question, go to the Buoyancy Comensators and Weight Systems subforum under the Equipment of Scuba Diving).
Once you're on the front page of that forum, there should be a "Post Thread" button, like the one you used to post here? Click that and fill in the boxes

Welcome aboard... you start threads in the main page of the forum relevant to the topic you want to post.
For example I post Dive condition updated for My area in New England Lobster Divahs forum. When I jump into the forum there is a button at the top of the page I click and then type my post.

If you are reading a specific post, and that makes you think of something that you'dl like to ask in that specific forum; you can navigate back to the forum that the post was in by clicking the links at the top of the page.
E.g. this thread has "ScubaBoard > ScubaBoard Central > Introductions and Greets" at the top. You can navigate to the parent forums via those links.. to aid in navigating to the forum that you wish to post in.

BTW - Did you set up your Profile? Some ideas for your Profle might be taken from looking at mine. Click on my Username to the upper left, then click on my Profile, and see what I've done.
