How does GUE certification work for Wreck diving?

Some of those differences seem to be more of a question of being careful when transitioning from one environment to the other and paying attention to the surroundings. I think all divers trained in overhead are taught the "whys" of doing certain things and should understand how to modify them if needed. Not all caves are the same either. And there are caves with low viz, narrow passages, disorientating sections, fragile structures, etc.

And some other skills are common for sea diving.

So I think it's possible to transition when some conditions are met.

As for GUE, I know that several Tec instructors combine some wreck diving into their courses.
