I paid about $1,500 for my equipments, including dive computer.

Here is the list of what I bought:
-Sherwood Avid BCD
-Sherwood Wisdom computer
-Cressi-sub Ellipse regulator and Cressi-sub Ellipse Octo
-Dive Flag float
-NeoSport 7mm wetsuit (2 pieces)
-Henderson Hyperstretch 5 mm gloves
-Henderson Hyperstretch 5 mm hood
-boots, mask, snorkel, fins
-Hyperalloy Knife

I didn't count classes - I only took OW classes and required dives - those cost me about $400.

Those equipments are my first and still going - I just got it a few weeks ago.

For me and Mrs Mares

including Drysuits, o'three :D
OW, AOW and now Rescue for me
Camera, strobes etc.

£5000.00
It would have been £5500.00 if I had'nt found Scubatoys :11:

The Drysuits were bought direct from o'three, Fantastic service. great people.

Bulk of the kit came from Kent Diving, Fantastic Service. Great people.

But then factor in diving holidays, weekend trips, day trips :11:

Weaving pot holders is cheap.

Yeah, maybe I'll take up that instead. I could make them with one of those things I had when I was like five, and I could stitch the pot holders together to make blankets, and maybe I could eventually get enough to provide a blanket for every child in Africa.

Or not.

Okay, that was way off topic. Sorry.
