This is pretty much all still applicable but note that each terminal has its own quirks and procedures which also seem to vary depending on whose lunch break you might be interrupting. Show up reasonably early with the form and you should be good but it's a good idea to coax a full outline of what you're supposed to do from the ticket booth staff each and every time (it can be different in the opposite direction on the same sailing). Also, DG either gets you first on/off or last on/off - more of the latter than the former in my experience.
