I recently got myself a Light Monkey 5-12 V1 light. (I have both a sidemount and Back mount version. I'm wondering if there is a good way to protect the lights while in transport? I've seen some local divers just leave their lights installed on their harness (canister on waist belt and light head bolt snapped to chest d-ring).

I was thinking of picking up a light weight regulator bag to put the light in to protect it but then this would require me to remove the light from my harness every day, I know its minor but its there.

Any thoughts or tips would be appreciated. Thanks.
