Hi all,

Has anyone used the Piranha HP Quick Disconnect for their transmitter?

I know Suunto and others make more expensive HP Quick Disconnects so I'm curious if anyone has experience with the lower priced Piranha version.

Yes I do. And they have worked nicely for a couple years.

Nice for swapping the transmitter between kits. I have a "blank" configured that goes in the first stage when it is removed so you can pressurize the kit if necessary. I also have an SPG in a long-ish hose as a back-up. Also just an SPG for checking....

Overall, VERY PLEASED. The "early" ones I got have a slight tendency for rust on the surface ring "grips", but later models are holding up better.
