Place the buckle on the side with the “duck bill” on top, angled to the left and up. With the belt right side up, pass the belt through the slot nearest the hinge. Then route through the other two slots, in order, the nearest first. If done correctly the belt should pass through all three slots and when the belt is in place, the “tail” is inside of the belt, and the belt is right side up.

Hope this helps,
Mike

Uncle Pug once bubbled...

Up through the first slot down through the second slot up through the third slot and back down through the first slot.

or

Down through the first slot up through the second slot down through the third slot and back up through the first slot.

or

Down through the first slot up through the second slot down through the third slot and leave it at that.

At first read, I thought these were new steps to a dance. :D

I think that does not matter as long as the buckle is tight and it does not comes loose. I had just use 2 of the 3 slots and it works fine. I never did thought of actually how to slot the webbing thru the buckle, just do it as it comes naturally. I slide mine thru the underside of the buckle(1st slot) up and then thru the 2nd slot with the end part of the webbing just touching the end of the buckle.

Thanks
