Seac Syren

Piranha's is selling a Seac Syren for dirt cheap and the GF is hooked on scuba after our trip. The price is very right but I can't seem to find info on them anywhere else which makes me nervious. Searching here, the only info is it got replaced with the Ninfa prior to 2010 so it's an old design.

Has anyone used that BC or even have generic pros/cons of their BCs vs other brands?

Also I'm curious if the bladder can dry rot after sitting on a shelf for so long.

Looking at the manuals that came with it, seems it's a P2K lady from SeacSub. Seems to also take double tanks if you're into that.
