Ok then, how about an invite up to your place for some pot roasted armadillo and fried rattlesnake:D:D
Too rare here on the Plains, altho the rattlers do show up some and the dillos are migrating north. If you like swamp rats, we can shoot some jackrabbits (actually hares) but cooking them takes a lonnnng time.

Ringneck season is coming in December. People come from all over to hunt those pretty chickens. At one once; once was enough.

Shouldn't you be packing or do she still do all that for you...??

And you know... they only savor the green iguanas, not the black ones.

tastes like..... pollo.

Nope,
Many eat the black wishy willy's as well. Now if an armadillo is caught then there is excitement but they are few and far between on Roatan. With the downturn in economy and tourism over the past few years and all the unemployment the land crabs have even taken a hit. Years ago there were few catching them and you could get a couple bushel bags in an hour or so, Now there are a lot of locals catching them with many having no issues with catching females with eggs and they are much less abundant.
