According to them it is only for yoke valves. If you enlarge the photo you will see that the bolt end is made to seat up against the o-ring of a yoke valve. A DIN filler needs to have the o-ring on the end of the bolt.

Never looked at it that closely, but they have some doodad that they use on my doubles that looks like it.
Doc is quite the Scuba doodad pioneer, especially air handling stuff. Among other things he is responsible for the design and promotion of the red & white diver down flag. And he's a really nice guy.
