Thanks for the update and best wishes for the future - however things turn out. I'm sure with your positive attitude you'll make whatever happens work out.
I’ll certainly try. If I have to have surgery, I may ask some dive specialists that I know if it’ll be okay to return to diving after I’m healed
 
Crazy how it went from seeming like a diving problem and now it’s all of this.

It is not unusual that unrelated symptoms resulted in DCS treatment. Here's my sea story on the problem.

Well, hopefully if your problems weren't caused by diving, then diving won't be contraindicated when you get to feeling better.

I think we all have a bit of a brain abnormality. I mean who willingly straps on 70+ lbs of gear so they can breathe underwater and look at 🐟?

hah! yeah, guess most people wouldn't be willing to do that LOL. my family and friends think i'm crazy for being a diver
