Ignore? What does it mean?

When someone puts you on the ignore list, what does it mean? Do the posts you author not show up to them?

If a person who is on your ignore list posts a message you'll only see that (s)he has posted, not the contents of that post.

Thanks, what about a reply to someone else? Does that person not show up if they post to answer someone else but they are not the originator of the thread?

If the Ignored Member quotes some other Members post, it will remain hidden.

If another Member quotes some the Ignored Members post, it will be visible.

Private Messages sent to you by the Ignored Member will not arrive.
