Alright folks, I have over 40 dives in Coz (which isn't much by many of your standards) and I still have been unable to locate a Splendid Toadfish. So I need the help of the Toadfish Finding Master to assist me in my quest. Last year I was on a quest but blew my left eardrum on the first dive of the trip, so this year it is on like a pot of neckbone!!!

I'd have no trouble packing it...however it is a LONG plane ride and I don't know if there would be much more than empties by the time I arrive...

The video I posted this morning on page 67 is shore diving at our hotel. It's Cozumel there are animals everywhere.

Everything is relative, of course. Compared to the shore diving around here (Kansas) the shore diving in Cozumel is incredibly, unbelievably awesome. But compared to the reefs in Cozumel it's only very good.

So I need the help of the Toadfish Finding Master

I did find one last year so I like to believe that makes me a master. Follow closely and observe, grasshopper.:cool2:

Honestly, one time I did look under a ledge (I think to look at a shrimp) and there was a splendid toad fish. Better to be lucky than good sometimes. It is pretty cool stuff.

Not that there was any doubt, but I locked in our airfare this afternoon. Round trip on Delta from Bloomington, Illinois (via Atlanta) for $602 per person. Now I can start counting the days!!
