Regarding airfares. I was just checking airfares and I'm noticing a drop in prices. Not for the dates of the Invasion, but for other dates. Plenty of dates in July from IAH to CZM at the moment for $457 total. To put it in prespective in the past 10 years that I have been going to Czm from Houston I have generally paid around $400. I also checked dates in early May and they are also $457 RT.

So there may be hope that prices will be coming down.

Well St. Patty's day is coming up and that brings us one day closer to drinking and the Invasion. 2 of my favorite things, besides women.

Anyone have plans for diving or drinking this coming weekend? I plan on doing both, first the diving and then the drinkin! Yeah Baby!

I wonder if the reason our rates are not dropping is because it's 4th of July week?

I'm glad I have my tickets... It was worth not having to stress about it any more....

I don't think the prices are dropping any because the airlines see that there is a lil more demand for the tickets, since an additional 50-70 peeps are going (those peeps being us).

Oh I really wish it was still CO and not UA. Jeff Smisek has ruined a great airline. If things stay the same as they are now United might have to bring back Gordon Bethune to get them from worst to first again.

I bought our airfare yesterday. The price dropped $230 per person from saturday night to sunday morning( back to the price of 4 weeks ago). Unfortunately, we have to fly on United because we decided not bring the kids and we need to drop them off in Houston on the way. We could have flown Delta or US Air for less.
Oh well....it was still less than what we paid for airfare last year to go to the invasion.
